The Habib™ Percutaneous HPB is a novel percutaneous bipolar radiofrequency (RF) probe that has been used for the palliation of malignant biliary obstructions due to cholangiocarcinoma or pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The RF catheter has been used for partial destruction of the tumour prior to stent insertion.
